Dedicated Account Manager

TMC Transportation, an employee-owned company providing specialized transportation services, is seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated candidate to join our team as a Dedicated Account Manager.  The successful candidate will cultivate and maintain our ongoing customer relationship onsite in Atlanta, Georgia by assessing customer needs, understanding business requirements, and managing overall expectations.

Position Overview

The dedicated account manager is instrumental in managing the customer’s expectations and ensuring the company is providing exceptional customer service by collaboratively working with other departments and facilitating open communications with the customer.  

Position Details

  • Coordinate transportation services and support to fulfill customer’s freight shipment demands
  • Identify best practices and maximize value of company services provided to the customer
  • Facilitate communications between customer and company to quickly resolve customer inquiries and immediately address needs
  • Regularly monitor and report logistics data to company management
  • Identify efficiencies and improvements in processes and implement related procedures
  • Special assignments as needed
