TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for an Yard Manager working out of our location in Dacula, GA.


Oversee the day-to-day loading operations at a customer location as a representative of TMC Transportation.


  • Responsible for the accuracy and reconciliation of securement inventory
  • Responsible for managing a pool of trailers to ensure the availability for customer loading purposes
  • Inspecting trailers and having damaged trailers to be serviced
  • Managing tarping personnel on both first and second shift
  • At times will be required to flex his/her hours between first and second shift as needed
  • Ensuring loads are secured to TMC and DOT standards
  • Communicating and coordinating with the on-site manager
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma required
  • Transportation and/or prior loading experience preferred
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
  • Ability to negotiate, plan and organize, has strong attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
