TMC Transportation has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician working out of our Brownsburg, IN.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Performs trailer preventative maintenance repairs and general troubleshooting work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Repair and maintain company trailers using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
- Recondition, repair or replace parts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearings, electrical system, and air systems.
- May weld parts for trailer repair
- Other duties as assigned.
