Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Process paperwork by accurately keying bill of lading, purchase order, or other customer numbers to invoice processing program per customer requirements.

Assigns batches to billing areas daily.

Contacts appropriate party (customers or consignees) to obtain missing paperwork or other required information.

Responds to customer requests made via phone calls, faxes, and e-mails for proof of deliveries.

Contact fleet managers about driver concerns such as missing paperwork, incomplete paperwork, etc.

Attach daily processed invoices and look for errors from processed invoices.

Daily entry of rate sheets needed per customer requirements.

Collecting, processing and creating of dedicated loads for various customers weekly.

Responding daily to 3PL proof of delivery requests.

Proofing bi-monthly Performance Reports for 8-axle and creating a corresponding invoice for the customer bi-monthly.

Billing weekly shag and tarp loads.

Bill line haul, dedicated and logistics/brokerage loads on a daily basis.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree in Accounting preferred and/or related work experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) products.

Strong keyboarding and 10 key skills.

Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.

Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
