Job Requirements of Human Resources Administrative Assistant:
- Assist the department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment, including: responding to employment inquiries, post new positions on various websites, sort/log incoming resumes, coordinate candidate interviews/drug screens/physicals and check references
- Assist with administering and/or facilitate new hires including preparation of offer letters, new hire packets, paperwork, and assisting in orientation process of new employees
- Soft and deliver daily departmental mail
- Assist HR Generalist with administration of unemployment matters
- Provide back-up telephone coverage
- Assist with benefit administration as needed
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general ed degree
- Currently enrolled junior or senior undergraduate student that is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field
- Able to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)
- Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team oriented environment
- Able to work with minimal supervision

Human Resources Administrative Assistant
