TMC Transportation has an immediate opening for a full time Field Recruiter, WFH with required travel. Region will be TN, AL, MS and GA. Ideal candidate will reside in Tennessee or Northern AL.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Field Recruiter is to develop and maintain recruiting sources within a designated geographic territory and deliver quality applications for over the road driving positions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source quality applicants
  • Confer with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
  • Initiate contact with recruiting sources, including driver schools, throughout a multi-state region to identify applicants for driving positions
  • Conduct presentations about the company and riving positions to applicants
  • Work with inside recruiters to facilitate the application process

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelors, preferably in Transportation or Human Resources; or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to travel as an essential function of the job
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written and oral communication, must maintain strong presentation skills
  • Ability to speak and be influential to possible candidates
  • Possess a working knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work autonomously
