Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

 

Oversee the day-to-day loading operations at a customer location as a representative of TMC Transportation.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Responsible for the accuracy and reconciliation of securement inventory

Responsible for managing a pool of trailers to ensure the availability for customer loading purposes

Inspecting trailers and having damaged trailers to be serviced

Communicating and coordinating with operations and maintenance personnel

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma required

Transportation and/or prior loading experience preferred

Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress

Ability to negotiate, plan and organize, has strong attention to detail, and problem solving skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job. 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

 

Employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 100lbs, including above the head.
