The Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and issuing certificates of insurance, assigning accident files in the computer; creating, maintaining and generating reports as needed; and administering the owner operator insurance program.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:


Assign accident claims in DX system.

Coordinate insurance program for owner operators. Maintains spreadsheet of additions, deletions, and changes on a monthly basis.

Investigate, evaluate and negotiates incident claims.

Collects subrogation claims from incident damages.

Issues and monitors insurance certificates working closely with the insurance providers.

Coordinates deductions with the safety department.

Handle, scan and distribute incoming mail.

Post payments and process invoices and check requests.

Job Requirements


Associates degree preferred and/or related work experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) products.

Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.

Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.

Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality.

Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods of time.

Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment.
